Medical Model Case Study
Greater China was asked to replicate medical models used by doctors to illustrate medical procedures such as hip, knee and various joint replacement components. The models varied in complexity from single component pieces to large multi-component models comprised of several different types of materials to reflect bones, implants and diseased parts. Each model had to be as detailed as possible and built to withstand repeated use. Greater China sourced extensively throughout China to locate a factory with the capabilities to custom tool each model as well as consistently produce high quality product. After locating the ideal factory, Greater China utilized its offices in China to oversee details and specifications of the models to ensure accuracy. To date, 16 models have been delivered to great satisfaction and additional models are about to start the tooling process.
