Retail Freebie Case Study
A North American distributor was working with its consumer brands client on a value-added item as a gift with purchase at retail. The key to this project was 2-fold: design an eco-friendly container to use as a portable trash can and do so within a very tight budget. With the distributor, Greater China designed a rotating pocket tin to hold food wrappers and other pocket trash. 100,000 pieces were designed, tooled, produced, and delivered to the end-client's China factory in 60 days; success of the promotion led to additional opportunities for Greater China's distributor client.
